Establish contacts to database providers (task 1)This task has taken a dual approach. Firstly, an "outreach" via the UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Intiative mailing list was carried out (see here for the results and background of the outreach effort). Secondly, we will be contacting known database providers directly, and are currently busy compiling the list of people to contact (notably using the US EPA's LCAaccess). Mary Ann has drawn up a list of database developers and their primary contact person. The idea is for all of us to edit the on-line LIST OF DATABASE PROVIDERS, filling in any gaps (e.g. contact names) or adding any data providers we may know of (if we do this online, we can avoid duplicating our efforts).
